Used this place for years. It's never been cheap but I always believed you paid for quality but sadly the prices keep going up but the quality has gone down. Sadly, I was given either re-heated chips or over cooked. Either way they were not hot and horrible. After this I will not buy again.

I can only say that the quality of the food in the restaurant was so good that the takeaway fish and chips must be equally good. I have had an "eat-in" Fish and Chips several times, mostly during the afternoon. I was usually the only diner so the service was incredibly fast. The Cod was crisply battered, succulent and flaky and the chips were near to perfection. Never had a bone in my fish and the staff are attentive and very pleasant. Lovely place.
