Great club to start your adventure with gliding. Highly recommended. The day started from the gate where I was escorted to launch point . Then I met with Barry after short briefing and filing in visitor form we went to aircraft where I was explained what to expect an what to do . After that we were air-towed up 2500 ft and I had amazing experience of gliding. After all I get certificate for flying a glider over Middle Wallop and was escorted back to gate . The only one thing I would improve is club name as can be little bit confusing. Great people and great club can't recommend enough.

This WAS the premier site on the South coast for Glider pilot training, but the airfield management decided Gliding activities were incompative with their ambitions for what they now call Solent Airport. PNGC is now operating out of Upavon, with a view to moving to a more permanent site next spring, provided all details work out. The club still has a strong and vigorously active junior pilot group, many of whom first flew solo on or just after their 14th birthdays.
