Really excellent museum well worth a visit. When I visited with my daughter who is on the autistic spectrum. Her favourite sunglasses fell off her head when she was going upstairs. They fell behind a very heavy steel upright cabinet and were very inaccessible. Do you know the staff weren't satisfied until they had retrieved them for her, which involved considerable work on their behalf. If that isn't going the extra mile I don't know what is? Thank you Portsmouth Museum staff! Bravo!
