Really awesome haddock, chips and peas!! Definitely up there with the best we've ever eaten! Fish was freshly cooked, juicy, and plentiful. Batter was lovely. Crispy and light, and peas were great too. Brilliant, friendly service and customer care. Such a shame we don't live locally, but tried this fabulous place last night after seeing its Google reviews, and were REALLY impressed. Will definitely be our go-to fish and chip shop whenever we're in Leeds. Thanks guys! 👍 See you in June!

Rarely do reviews but Portside is such a good fish shop I feel like we should spread the word! Really pleased to have it as our local. Lovely, big chunky fish, crispy batter and tasty chips all cooked in vegetable oil, which means they don't taste greasy at all. Can be delivered, which is a bonus. Really nice owner too - always super helpful when we forget something off our order!

I've been buying from Portside for a few years now originally from the Harrogate Branch and more recently the Kirkstall Branch. I have to say somewhat disappointed with my order today. Firstly I ordered Large Chips and what we got was the best part of small. Normally a Large Chips is given in it's own box, however on this occasion the chips where in the same box as the fish, even though I placed an order for everything separately. Also there was no Tartare Sauce so instead of discussing this I was given Ketchup which I don't like. UPDATE …..Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my experience. I understand things don’t go seemingly well every time.
