I very rarely post reviews, but after my experience this morning and having now read reviews with similar experiences to my own, I feel justified for sharing. Having been recommended Porcelanosa by my tiler, I eagerly looked forward to visiting their showroom… but, this was the first and last time I will ever visit. The showroom is well laid out, the tiles are beautiful and the cost, despite being on the high side, was as expected for a quality product. However the customer service is none existent. The three staff were totally uninterested in my genuine custom and their attitude came across as bordering on arrogance. I understand there is a balance to be struck with not pouncing on a customer the second they enter, but to not acknowledge one’s presence at all is just rude, especially when the store was empty, bar one other customer. When I did finally interact with a staff member the experience continued to be poor. Answers to my questions were practically monosyllabic, zero advise was given and there was simply no interest in my requirements at all. The only question I was asked was, ‘how many bathrooms do you have?’ For the record, three, all of which will now not have any Porcelanosa products in.

Excellent shop absolutely fab, good quality materials. We were looking for outdoor tiles, we found and purchase them. One of the best shops in town. Top quality. We were robbed by an unscrupulous group of so called patio layers, they had a website, all a con, my husband is out of pocket for £1500 and not a trace of them.

Great Reading showroom, very spacious, all areas are well displayed. Had multiple orders with them instore or via phone calls. Helena and Martyn are always helpful to sort quotes, orders and issues out. I did enjoy being 'ignored' by them in store, so I have no pressure browsing around and taking time to make decisions. No need to mention they have top quality tiles. Although not cheap, but very consistent, making projects going smooth and looking great in the end.

We visited Porcelanosa a couple of times before purchasing tiles and other accessories. During our first visit, we were also 'ignored', in some ways a refreshing change from being harassed when we were still deciding what we wanted, but it did feel like some of the staff didn't care too much about our business. Then we met Daniel Greene who was excellent! He had so much experience and knowledge to help us work out what we needed. He was speedy at replying and processing our order and helped us understand what would work best in our bathroom and sizes etc. If you ask for him, I think you will have a very positive experience!
