Was out with 4 couples on a 50th Birthday bash on Saturday evening and went to this venue. Having to pay to enter was a joke when there are so many better places that are free but the search and frisk on the door are disgusting. Can anybody tell me who gave the people on the door permission to go through my wallet and even look between the notes that were in there. The fact the staff were not happy when we question this made it even worse. I've been to many venues and that is the worst experience I have had with door staff.

Shambles of York is well known, Shambles of doorman is what this place is known for, these lads/ kids need to get back on policing Covid testing queues because trying their luck with the general public with their searching techniques will back fire

If you would like to enjoy freely and spend your time enjoyable don’t go this unrespect place it’s horrible .this place not good for enjoy I don’t feel any secured and the security staff are horrible they don’t know the how to respect the customers and just taking short video just for the lighting they just kick out one of customer they check mobile phone and can’t find anything wrong but also not allowed him to enter just paid £7 pound entrance fee and £7 pound of full pint of beer just wasted of money
