Stopped by because advertised a cafe on the roadside. Got our dog out of the car because we were in the car park and he was crying for a wee after long drive. Owner came right over with dog of his own to be extremely rude about us having a dog. Don’t even know if there is a cafe as we obviously left but can say for sure the owner is very unpleasant. Based on these reviews I can see we are not the only ones with this experience. Lots of places to spend money so would not recommend doing it here.

Really good place to catch fish. 3 different ponds for regular fishing and there is always space, we had the entire back lake to ourselves. You can tell there are loads of fish in here, I am not a massive carp fisher but I caught them all day on pellets probably one every half hour. Maybe I got lucky, it was well worth £10 to fish to me. I have been places and paid a day ticket, especially rivers and caught nothing. Only bad thing I thought was the owner wanted £10 for another day ticket just for my girlfriend to have a turn, probably only for 5/10 minutes.
