Food & drinks: Food and drink choices were great. Cereals, full English or whatever else you fancy (there’s a food menu when you arrive) Homemade cake which is a nice touch, plenty of coffee, teas and biscuits in the room. A handful of chocolates as well which was nice :)

We came to the UK for a wedding and a holiday. We traveled extensively around the the UK and stayed in many B & B's and two or three Hotels but I can say without a doubt "Poppies" Pam and Paul's were the best. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable the bathroom and shower was great as we had some pretty crummy bathrooms and beds in other places. Pam and Paul couldn't help us enough with information as where to go and what to see. Have no hesitation in recommending "Poppies" to anyone. Thank you Pam and Paul.

Had a fantastic stay at Poppies. From the homemade cake and tea in the garden when we arrived, to the lift to the venue of the wedding reception we were attending, to the spotlessly clean and comfy room, to the slapup breakfast, we really couldn’t fault it. Pam and Paul were friendly, welcoming and just so helpful. This place was an amazing find!
