Absolutely vile I make better currys from a jar. The madras might aswell be a ginger curry. The onion bhaji was rubbery and a few days old no flavour . The korma was blended up mush, the fact that an English man can make a better curry from a jar is outrageous. First time ordering and will be the last. £27 for two boring currys and 2 rubbery bhajis glad I made my own rice.

Ordered a takeaway from here & it was excellent. Chicken makhani with pilau rice & peshwari naan, delivered hot & on time. Will be using them again & will also be trying the restaurant

Visited Sun 15 Jan. It seems to me most of the bad reviews for this place are hard luck stories with the takeaway service . Go and visit the restaurant and you'll find it's a different story altogether. I believe this curry house has been in the same family since the mid eighties which is when I first came here and although the name has changed the standard hasn't dropped. I ordered Nawab Bangla , Special Rice and 2 Chapattis and my friend ordered Chicken Hyrabadi, Onion Rice and 1 Keema Nan. All the food was first class and cooked perfectly. With the addition of a bottled lager and a glass of red wine the bill was £45.00. so not only is this restaurant excellent quality it's also reasonably priced. 💯 recommend.If you go and you agree hit the Blue Thumbs Up on this review !!
