We had a very unpleasant visit to the Thyme Out restaurant today. We ordered 4 sandwiches. We ate two sandwiches and on the third we noticed mold on the crust of the bread. Complained to the manager of this restaurant but they don't seem to have done anything about it. A few hours after eating the sandwich I didn't feel very well and vomited the food. Don't recommend at all. Avoid !!!!

Stopped off for a coffee, very busy but restaurant service was good, no long wait at the till while coffee is prepared its brought to your table. Will go back with grandchildren to ride on the train. Parking: Huge car park

The food has been ok and its a lovely place but the ploughman's lunch was just salad on a plate and I thought that £13 was way too much for very little effort.

Really lovely place to visit. Amazing scones. Lovely play area for the children. Maybe could do with a “baby swing” but honestly you really couldn’t fault it- and a steam train too , just brilliant. The train staff are just so friendly .

Visited Poplar Nursery restaurant yesterday 17/6/21 and very disappointed. Reasonably clean, however staff were sullen and frankly couldn't be asked. Food was awful, ordered quiche with coleslaw and salad. Mini quiche was tasteless, dry with rock hard pastry. Salad was a small portion of wilting yellowing rocket with basic shop bought coleslaw which amounted to around half a tablespoon in size. Quite expensive and certainly not value for money. Will never visit the restaurant again and will not recommend to anyone else.
