So where do I start ? This veterinary practice can only be described as awesome ! I took my daughters' cat to see Henry for a second opinion due to her practice being absolutely deplorable, and in my opinion purely in business to rip off its clients to the enth degree. She was told, in a 10 minute appointment at a cost of £110, that the cat which had been attacked by a dog would need 2 X-rays at a cost of £550 the next day, and more than likely a plate in one of its paws as there was a possibility of broken bones at a cost of £3,500 !!! I was in with Henry for nearly an hour in which he examined the cat thoroughly, shaved the paw concerned(not done by the other vets) put two stitches in one wound and one stitch in another(which the other vets didn't even find) He cut two of the the claws which had been split through the middle during the attack. He said there were two tiny broken metatarsels which should heal in due course (certainly no metal plate required)!! He gave the cat two jabs and a 7 day course of antibiotics and all this for less than what my daughter paid the other well known clowns for a 10 minute consultation. If you are ever worried about using a private veterinary practice ,don't be, Henry Fielden's practice has a wonderful vet in himself and great veterinary nurses, so as i said at the beginning, absolutely awesome 5 star and then some !!!!

Fantastic experience at this vets. We are not registered here, but when we had concerns about our dog, they were able to fit us in two hours later and took time, great care and attention to look for the cause of the problem and treat her. Both the vet and assistant were brilliant, and the price was very reasonable. Highly recommend.

Absolutely wonderful veterinary practice. Highly recommended! They saw me within hours of asking to have 3 puppies done with their second vaccination when literally all vets in Poole would not fit us in for many days. A really thorough health check 100% perfect

Diagnosed our beautiful 10 year old black lab with ticks whereas she actually had advanced lung cancer. Refused to see her when we really needed help.

We were recommended Poole Road Veterinary Surgery by friends when we found ourselves needing an Animal Health Certificate for travel which our own vet couldn’t assist with. From the outset, the receptionist / nurse was tremendously helpful, polite and obliging in appraising us of the steps and processes involved in the now rather bureaucratic process! Their service was excellent, attention to detail meticulous and they went above and beyond in checking our dog’s health well beyond the requirements of the certificate. Thank you for caring about the service you provide.
