Fished here a good few times over the years simply for variety in the fisheries I use, have to say the fishing is awful and one of the worst around, the decrepit owner insists on vetting everyone that visits the house so he can look you up and down and be generally rude to you, the pool itself is nice however the standard of fishing is extremely poor, not many fish that fight and not matter what time of year you visit it's always the same. Unless you like catching a few miniscule roach I wouldn't bother. Last trip here taken, Hopefully hs2 will bulldoze it soon, and I'm strongly against hs2 Suppose the owner will put some sarky comment of " can't fish" like the other ones but I was 2nd in the Midlands championship a few years ago so know a thing or two
