Taken a pair of shoes in for repair, returned to pick them up on the agreed 4 days later and was told they haven't got the stock in to repair them as they haven't been down to the warehouse for the stock, we agreed that I could pick them up in another 4 days time. Returned for the 2nd time to be told again they wasn't ready, after asking why, same answer... they hadn't been down to pick stock up from warehouse and wouldn't be doing because its near Christmas. Extremely poor customer service, poor excuses especially in these times where we are asked to shop local to support local businesses - will not be going there again, i will be taking them to a highstreet brand like Timpsons, atleast you know the work will get done.

What an absolute farce. Took my boots in for repair (the tongue was pulled out). Gave them the boots and got a ticket. The Gentleman behind the counter said it'd be ready in 2 days. So my wife walked up to town 2 days later to "sorry I've not had time" long story short, it took them 11 days to fix my boot, and when I got it back the tongue was alot shorter than the original... So I've got odd boots now. It's a shame, because I prefer to support local businesses, but unfortunately I won't be using this service again. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend.

Unfortunately there is no 0 star option. Dropped 2 pairs of wedges in for repair. Went to collect 2 weeks later than they should have been ready only 1 pair was repaired. Took those and left the others. I was unable to return for a further couple of months, in which time the first pair broke again after 30 minutes of wear. After such a long time I was expecting the second repair to have been done. No. I was told that there was no point repairing the first ones as they would just break again. We were now into winter so with them being summer shoes I had no desire to wear them so decided to leave the second pair a while longer to be repaired. Over the next couple of months I returned twice. Each time to be told there was “an issue with the machine” or the “bloke wasn’t in”. Fortunately I had been in town for other things and hadn’t made a special trip so wasn’t too inconvenienced. Today they STILL WERENT REPAIRED! No apology, no explanation. Took them back and took both pairs to Timpsons. Repaired whilst I waited and absolutely solid. LAZY INCOMPENTENT WASTE OF MY TIME!
