Service was pleasant and efficient which brings the average star rating up, love the partner team, but sadly the food is very below par when there’s an actual Italian restaurant a few metres away. No idea why you’d pay £6 (!) for a ciabatta that was the same as the part-baked supermarket ones, with just a bit of melted cheese chucked on… some whole olives.. no salad or anything. Such a sorry looking sandwich! Olive tapenade, rocket, balsamic and better cheese would elevate something like this and create a better brand image. Could have paid half the price and got better at Greggs! Looking at the pasta on offer too, it looked like supermarket value pasta shapes with plain jarred sauce. I prefer supporting independent but sadly it was very below the mark when there are so many other eateries in arm’s reach. Not to mention polystyrene packaging… in this climate?
