The room was comfortably furnished with a small table, chair and hanging space. 10 minutes walk to the center. Quiet and relaxed area. (Original) War hier alleine für einige Tage Mitte Mai und hatte einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Greg nahm mich im Empfang und eine herzliche Art hatte mich direkt willkommen geheißen. Gemütliches Doppelbett mit eigenem Bad. Das Zimmer war gemütlich eingerichtet mit einem kleinen Tisch, Stuhl und Aufhängemöglichkeiten. 10 Gehminuten zum Zentrum. Ruhige und entspannte Gegend.

Wow!! Homestyle, family hospitality. Rare, nowadays. So lucky to have a place like this around here. Perfectly situated from the Centre including access by the car free, native tree lined, Georgian era promenade that is the riverside path, The New Walk.

This beautiful B&B just outside the city was everything I needed for a fabulous few days away. Heidi and Greg are great and nothing was too much trouble. As a solo traveller I felt very safe and secure which I don't always in the bigger chains, so it was lovely to not have that worry. Honestly if you want a hotel within walking distance from the city, with great hosts, please book here

Great little guesthouse easy to find with onsite parking. Great location - 10 min walk into town either along the road or the river. We even walked to York parkrun on the racecourse. Room was clean - it was snug but I liked that they've put a table in the bay window so there was somewhere nice to have your morning brew. Would definitely recommend.

We had a room for 3 people, it was spacious, warm and quiet. The bedding was very comfortable ! The location is great as we are not far from the center. Heidi & Greg were very warm/welcoming and available ! We enjoyed our stay very much and will come back with great pleasure !
