This is the best plumbing company you will find. Never loose their number! Today I was changing out the vanity and sink in my bathroom. Come to find the pipe leading to the shut off valve has disintegrated. I quickly shut off the main water line and called PM247. I love these guys! They came over within hours (which was very important, because I have tenants that need their water on) Quickly fixed the pipe, didn't charge me an arm or a leg.

PM247 quoted £140 + vat to clear a blocked toilet. The engineer flushed it and poked a rod in the drain which we'd opened for him. He returned to the van and said the boss would phone. The boss phoned and said they would require another £295 + vat to investigate further. In total the engineer was on site for a maximum of five minutes. The local plumber cleared the drain for £99 including vat. After the visit and the payment for the call out I received further requests for payment. This felt like harassment. I can't recommend this company. Poor quality and poor value.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!! we have had a terrible experience with PM247 where they charge £144.00 for a call out fee which is essentially the cost for them to simply walk through your door. Firstly the engineer was late. We were then told the problem had been identified and that we should pay an additional £150.00 and the works would be completed and toilet fixed today. Once the £150 was paid they removed a panel and noticed that the cistern was leaking and then asked for an additional £200. We told them we will not be paying any extra and that the costs should be transparent once the investigation has been completed. Surely a tradesman will come out, identify the problem (call out fee) and then quote for the cost to repair. The whole experience was infuriating with plenty of ‘computer says no’ responses. Avoid at all costs. We are £300 down with a toilet that is still broken.
