Bad communication, some good teaching some bad, would be better with a medical room or centre. Had a man that was constantly complained about with nothing happening. I just hope the communication is better than in the animal management department.

Not an excellent choice if you don't want to be discriminated against. I suffered ableist discrimination this year when I was building a rocket. I thought this would be an excellent personal project for myself and something that could really put Plumpton on the map, they took the rocket stages (some old drums of hypochlorite that I was going to fibreglass together) I'd been storing in my room without an explanation. I'm taking it as discrimination against my mental illness (schizoaffective disorder) and the erroneous belief that, because of this diagnosis, I am necessarily a dangerous person and shouldn't be allowed to build a rocket. That's how they made me feel, like a second class citizen. Avoid! - Sam Cottle (student 2020-23)

Tutors and community are very friendly and inclusive. Unfortunately there can be a lot of management issues and poor communication at times. It's good if you want to undertake first-hand experience and get moderate academic knowledge on a particular subject in the curriculum. Overall in my opinion a fairly decent college.
