Lovely little pub in the countryside of Shustoke. Good choices on the menu, no problem swapping chips for mashed potato, both meals were ample and filling & stayed hot until the end, delicious. Great service, can't wait to go back.

We have started holding our Coleshill Grammar School 'ex-pupils of the 1950s era' twice yearly get-togethers here, and the staff have made us so welcome. We have tables reserved in the large conservatory and the food is excellent. The real ales are good, the staff are efficient and friendly, and parking is easy. All in all, a very good experience.

Went here on Bank holiday Monday with a friend and we both had the breaded mushrooms with garlic dip to start.Delicious! We both then had the 10 ounce sirloin steak with chips, onion rings etc and that was very tasty. Have visited this pub many times over the years and have never had a bad meal. They were busy because it was the Bank holiday, but despite this, the service was excellent. Outside at the front of the pub, they now have pods which customers are able to book. They were all full when we were there, but I would be tempted to book one of these when my friend and I go again (which we definitely will!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this pub to all. It is also child friendly.
