We happened to be passing by chance and decided to stop for a drink, when we walked in the smell of the food was so good we asked if there was a table available for dining... So glad there was! Having recently undergone a refurb the decor was fresh and classy, service was excellent and there was plenty to choose from on menu. Food certainly did not disappoint .. The Plough will definitely be a new regular for us

Went for Sunday lunch and the service was good. Portions I thought were small but tasted nice. Overall I thought the price was expensive…..£150 was a shock as drinks were very expensive. We had 2 gin and tonics and two glasses of wine!!!!!!

We came for a birthday on a Sunday and it was wonderful. Great atmosphere especially if you like to talk with loved ones over a good meal. The staff were incredible, welcoming and friendly. As for the food, it was amazing value for money and top quality too! It's not local to us but after today, I will find a reason to come back! 😃 Parking: Parking right outside the venue.

We got a table here at the last minute for Sunday lunch - everywhere else we called was fully booked. Food was lovely but since the last time we went the prices have gone through the roof and I can only imagine this is why we were able to get a table. £16.50 for a child’s Sunday lunch is extortionate in my opinion. I thought one of our party was being cynical when she said it’s probably because they don’t want children there, but then the moment my two year old got out of his high-chair I was told he “mustn’t walk around for health and safety reasons”, so I think she made the right assumption. The service simply isn’t good enough (yet) to justify the prices. Kid-friendliness: Not child friendly

We celebrated our granddaughters 16th birthday here. It was amazing, delicious food and attentive service without being over the top. I cannot say enough good things about it. We will certainly be returning.
