A hole in wall between Greek Street and Old Compton Street, specialising in delicious thin crispy pancake (folded and to be eaten immediately) covered in a mixture of egg, fermented bean paste, chilli oil, herbs and a choice of three meats — Iberico char siu pork, cumin-spiced lamb or grilled miso chicken. As the name eludes, it does feature a pleasant lady who takes the orders and diligently completes every order on the round skillet. While the service can be slow and cues form at peak lunchtime, it is worth the wait. Every Pleasant Lady pancake incorporates a crisp pork belly cracker for some taste and texture. The cracker is a perfect complement to the juicy meat, spicy spices and crispy pancake. A yummy quick meal, slightly overpriced meal for £9.60. No cash accepted so make sure you bring your debit or credit card. Highly recommended for lovers or Asian food, creepes and pancakes.
