Sadly the shop has permanently closed, leaving a void in the local area. It was a beloved addition that will be missed.

I was pleased when I heard Planet Organic was coming to Tower Bridge Road, however the reality has been a bit disappointing. The prices charged are excessive - often 20% higher than the exact same item & brand would be in Waitrose or other large retailer. Also, what's particularly disappointing is that the unpackaged section has been out of action for months (I think at least 6 months now!). Many of us would like to reduce the amount of packaging we're using - please can you bring this back Planet Organic? I feel it's part of your USP.

Planet organic are definitely morphing into Holland & Barrett, probably due to the CEO coming from the Holland and Barrett stock. Renee Elliot the founder of PO would be ashamed of the brand today. Shop independently, support small businesses.

Called twice before going to check if they had the item I wanted and was told that they had a lot in stock. Once I got there, about 15 minutes after my call, there was nothing on the shelf! I spoke to Shayan who was at the counter and who was extremely arrogant and unhelpful and he responded in an unfriendly manner by saying they probably sold out since my call and left it at that! The usual Manager is always very courteous and friendly. Very disappointed with my visit today.

A great little shop. It has more or less everything I might need, and has become my first stop ahead of the local version of the big-name supermarkets. The staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Overbearing and rude security guard. I walked into the shop with my partner at lunch to pick one item up and as soon as we walked through the door the security person thought it was okay to follow us instantly to the back of the store and tail us. He then followed us back to the door after paying for the item to which I said I don’t appreciate him following us around and he replied quite rudely saying ‘I’m not following you’ as if we were blind to the sheer uncomfortableness of being made to feel guilty as soon as we stepped in the store. Incredibly rude. It’s a shame as the store is good but no one wants to shop in that environment. I will not return.

Limited Selection. Bad Customer Service Pushing Customers to Purchase their Own PO brands, which are low-grade and more expensive per weight. Over the several months, since opening I've noticed Planet Organic has limited their selection of brands, and replaced their inventory with their own branded products. For example,I can no longer buy Meridian smooth almond butter, which has no sugar and no palm oil. Now PO only carries their own Planet Organic almond butter, which is more expensive per 100g and is laced with sugar. The bulk dry food section is gone. Can't find my Almond Milk (not Almond drink, which has sugar) . Little Moons are no more and just yesterday no more chia seeds. I spoke to the Manager, and asked if they would look into getting Whole Earth red Crunch, only to point me to the Coco Crunch, again full of sugar. He was rude and in not so many words said that head office does all the ordering and did not take request from customers. The front of the store's plants are all dead. They like the customers are neglected. I've since discovered two great local shops that carry all of the brands I usually purchased at PO. These shops also carry wonderful hot prepared food , yummy baked goods and have lovely customer service that listen to their customers. I would recommend supporting your local shops like: Zest Organic Food, 33 Dockhead, London SE1 2BS Giddy Grocer 80 Bermondsey St, London SE1 3UD Sad, as Planet Organic use to be a good place to shop.

Store looked nice from what I could see. However, on entering the store, the Asian security guard felt it ok to literally eye me up for size. he made me feel very uncomfortable and it was my first visit to the store. I grabbed what I went in for, which were just two items, and could not wait to leave. His eyes were following me EVERWHERE! I would have spent more time browsing had he not made me feel so bloody uncomfortable! When I was walking out the store, he proceeded to stare deep into my eyes with a nasty attitude on his face, to which point I stared back. As I walked out the store, I told him "it would not hurt you to smile"and he got infuriated once I left. He does not allow customers to feel welcomed or even feel as though they are free to browse without him sniffing down their back.he is a bad asset to your lovely shop and he will deter future customers from coming into your store.please consider hiring a friendly security guard.thank you
