A very nice addition to the Cribbs Causeway area. It was £23.50 for the two of us when we went which I feel is quite reasonable. I went on a weekday so it wasn't very busy, plenty of parking, getting skates was straight forward and had an enjoyable time on the rink.

Upper management don't care about the staff or the customers. Disgusting company refusing to honour refunds that were promised over a year before. Avoid like the plague. I will never return.

The teachers at Ice Planet also deserve praise for their teaching skills. It's clear that they are knowledgeable and dedicated to their craft. Their ability to impart their knowledge to your daughter has clearly contributed to her positive experience at the rink.

The rink is great. The entry system needs more staff or you stand out in the cold for ages. The skate hire and return system also needs reviewing as once you've queued to get in you then join a long queue for skates. And the Ice Card at booking process needs resolving. But a good, fun experience once you're in the ice! Update: The Ice Card process has been resolved, and there are more staff on the front desk. The cafe could do with being open all the time though, especially when there's late ice skating sessions on. Update: cafe still not open enough and the price hikes for school holidays go on too long; double discount and the longer sessions in the school holidays have been a welcome addition. Update: worth visiting for the ice shows, and for following the ice hockey teams, but book early as they sell out every week. Update: book before you go if possible as times and types of sessions can change.

Imagine building an ice rink, furnishing it with hundreds of skates for rental, but not bothering to buy a blade sharpener. The rental skates are atrociously blunt. Inexcusable. Welcome to broken Britain.
