    Booked a viewing for a 2 bed house that got cancelled 6 weeks ago and rebooked for today. We were told the earliest appointment for today was 12pm as the person doing the viewing wasn’t available in the morning. Myself and my partner had to take time off work to go and see this property, only to get a voicemail an hour before our appointment to say the property had been let. When I contacted placefirst to ask how someone had already let the property when we had booked what we were told was the first available appointment, I was told that these people had missed out on another property so they had ‘managed to squeeze them in’ before us. We weren’t notified of any earlier appointments being made available to go and see this property, no one contacted us to say that they had booked anyone else in front of us. And their only response to this was ‘I apologise that this has happened to you, we do have a 1st floor apartment available in that area’ which is not suitable for us as we have 2 dogs and need a property with a garden. Absolutely let down by this company, and because of this will be looking to rent with someone else

    My viewing experience at place first is amazing. It has been so difficult to get an online viewing but placefirst gave me the opportunity to do that which I appreciate due to the nature of my job. The viewing was fantastic with Mohamed. Later on I had some issues I called the office to sort it out. Liz was happy to help see me through all the contact detail update process. She was patience with me and I really appreciate that.     Our property manager Sue at the Welsh Streets was absolutely brilliant. She was always very pleasant and very professional with ourselves. We left the property in good shape and our deposit return reflected that, and everything was communicated clearly and on time. Whilst I appreciate some people have gripes with the organisation as a wider remit due to its size, I feel as though things can get lost in the cracks. But any time this occurred I raised it with Sue and it was promptly dealt with. Thanks Sue, we really appreciate it :)

    We chose Placefirst because we liked the ethos of building a community in a area that had been all but abandoned. We are living in a 3 bed refurbished terrace in the Welsh Streets development. Now in our 5th year here and we love this place. Having never rented before we are getting used to how this works, some minor issues here and there, but the convenience of having repairs/maintenance taken care of by an in house team is good. Any day to day issues are dealt with by our property services manager Sue Shannon who is on site 5 days per week and is always professional and approachable.
