    Went with 4 professional mates around 59 years old - so not hooligans. Arrived quite late - around 09:45 and was told we needed to order quickly as they shut at 10pm. Fair enough. We ordered 3 meat pizzas + 1 mushroom + 1 other. The mushroom pizza (mine) arrived quite burnt on top - but ok once you cut the burnt bits off. One of the meat pizzas had no meat on. We sent this one back and they apologised and said they had run out of meat and my friend chose a pepporoni pizza instead. Pepporoni pizza was ok. Bill arrived and they had charged us for 6 pizzas instead of 5 as they had not taken off the failed pizza. We said they needed to remove the pizza we had not received and also remove the service charge as service was poor. I also requested they take off an additional 20% as they had rushed us through, overcharged us, and provided a poor overall level of service. I believe the manager was Italian but I cannot be sure. I felt he was racist but I cannot be sure. My (white) mates confirm that the (probably) Italian manager appeared to be racist in his dealings with me. He agreed to remove the pizza we did not receive and removed the service charge but refused any further compensation. He suggested that we did not return. We will not. We are 59 (ish) year old professionals who do not generally make trouble but we received poor service from this company and complained on this occasion. The response was extremely poor. I have a branch of Pizza Pilgrims in my 'block' which I was planning to visit. I will not be doing so after this experience.

    Overall it's just not as good as Pizza Union a short walk away.... Yes there are some funky pizza toppings, side options and the bases are pretty good but you pay a premium for these. The atmosphere, speed and price don't really make this a good option for a work break lunch. If I'm invited there I'm sure I will go again but I wouldn't choose to go here, also gets pretty busy so go early if you want to grab a table.
