This used to be my favourite restaurant but I feel they are now overpriced for pasta, rice and pizza. When you get offered chilli on your risotto and then find you’ve been charged £1.95 for the privilege, they’re taking a step too far. If an Indian restaurant did that, you’d be paying £100 plus. They did remove the charge when challenged, but why put your customers in the embarrassing situation of having to say “ will that be an extra charge?”

Food absolutely delicious if a little on the expensive side but evening spoilt by surly waitress from the get go who later came to our table between starters and mains to ask if we had booked?!?! We had - and this was checked on arrival so got the impression they had double booked. Also I don’t know why but since the extension the acoustics inside are dreadful - literally couldn’t hear myself think. Would’ve preferred to sit outside with traffic noise!
