My partner first saw the restaurant on instagram and he’d been waiting for an opportunity to visit as the food looked so wonderful. We were the only ones in the restaurant upon arrival and the decor looked really modern and fresh. The service on the other hand was another matter, I got the distinct impression that we weren’t partially welcome and I certainly felt uncomfortable. When ordering the food (which was passable at best) we mentioned we’d like some ketchup. We were told by the server that “I’m silently judging you for the ketchup” which was accompanied by a disdainful look. After hearing this we decided that we weren’t going to spend any more of our hard earned money on dessert. The server must have realised his error as when we were paying he decided to turn on the charm, which was too little to late for me. Suffice to say we won’t be returning in the future.
