Awful experience! I had booked a call appointment with the doctor within a specific time slot, only to be caught off guard when the doctor randomly called me outside of the agreed-upon time and insisted they had been attempting to reach me. Consequently, I was compelled to reschedule the appointment for a frustratingly distant two-week wait. The level of service provided was truly disheartening and left me thoroughly disappointed.

This practice is truly amazing. I have been a patient for around two years and have experienced a lot during this time. I have never actually had a face-to-face appointment with a doctor there; buts that’s because my concerns haven’t indicated I’d require one. I feel too many people insist they should be seen in person and complain when this isn’t initially offered to them, when in fact many things can be managed via a phone call. When I suffered a mental health crisis they couldn’t have been more supportive. From past experience with other GP surgeries this is very rare. I have complex physical health conditions too, which are all perfectly managed via phone appointments and me emailing information and enquiries. All emails are responded to extremely quickly. Last year I unexpectedly lost 20kg in eight months. It didn’t make sense as my bloods were all normal and there were no other symptoms. They reassured me they wouldn’t dismiss this and would help find the cause. After a further test indicated potential bowel issues I was investigated and diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, despite no classical symptoms. Because of the competence of their doctors intuition and running a test many others wouldn’t have because of it not ticking the right boxes I was diagnosed and commenced treatment early on for what is a lifelong condition that would’ve been much more advanced when symptoms would have eventually presented. I find the wait of around two weeks for a routine appointment perfectly acceptable, and during appointments I’ve never felt rushed and have always felt listened to. Whenever I’ve needed to call or pop into reception the staff have always been lovely. I feel very fortunate to be under this practice. Thank you all for the hard work you do.

The worst gp ever! Avoid them. The give you a call appointment for lunch time and they call you in the morning pretending that they had a call scheduled form 9am. After that because of their mistake they wanted to rescheduled the call for 2 weeks later. Quite ridiculous. Don’t waste your time to register here

I have decided to change my family GP surgery because of the negligence we have experienced. My 8 months daughter had continues bellyache for 3 weeks then the Doctor requested a poo sample but while waiting for the result we should stop giving her milk and yogurt. Sadly we waited 4 weeks the result wasn’t coming, when we contacted the GP Practice, the receptionist was very rude while telling us that the result was lost and we needed to bring another sample. It’s now 7 weeks since we presented the 2nd sample to the GP practice, the result is still not coming but within those 11 weeks my daughter is not drink milk or eating yogurt. I wouldn’t recommend this GP practice to anyone new to the Area. Unprofessional - Rude - Careless

Been 2 months since my ultrasound scan and they have not yet sent the report to my GP - this is totally unacceptable! Stay clear if you can!

The receptionist hung up in my face(the one who answered me on 13/04/21 15:45). I had a phone appointment and no one called, so I decided to call again and ask why; she hung up in my face! I complained to the doctor who called me, and YES, I ADMIT, I WAS ANGRY AND I USED AN INAPPROPRIATE LANGUAGE. Result? I received a letter in which all the blame was put on me, and they threatened not to see me again. They made up that she "only hung up to give the doc time to call" lol. Lesson: If you're bitten by a wolf, don't complain to another one. EDIT The same receptionist denied me an appointment; not sure how lawful is that? Well, they seem to get away with it, so... EDIT The SUPER RECEPTIONIST's drama continues! I called to ask why I haven't received any reply to my request for a prescription I made by email...guess what? SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE, AGAIN!!
