I stayed at the Pilgrim’s Hotel for three nights and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and the room was clean. I traveled solo so I had the single room, which was quite small (but that was to be expected). The bathroom was very small and the area around the toilet was even smaller. It is very close to everything you want to see in Canterbury, including a lot of pubs and restaurants. For a solo traveler who didn’t spend much time in the room, the Pilgrim’s Hotel is great.

Safety: Door locked with a regular key. Though the keyring that had the room number on it was a bit bulky. Walkability: Near the high street so everything is at hand. Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast buffet. Given the size of the hotel there was a lot to choose from.
