I have had the worst experience with Fiat Palmers Hemel Hempstead. I purchased a second hand car from them in September and after I collected the car, there were issues with the parking brake not working and passenger door not locking. Fiat Palmers advised me that these things must have been missed during their inspection of the vehicle and offered to adjust and make the necessary repairs. Last week I took the car in for MOT and the car failed and the mechanic who performed the MOT advised me that the things that it failed on were problems that the car had been experiencing for a very long time (over 6 months), the car was unsafe and was surprised that Fiat hadn't picked up on them. One of the issues was the parking brake not working properly. I called Fiat Palmers and they offered to repair the parking brake AGAIN free of charge but would not acknowledge or repair the other issues that should have been highlighted when handled their handover inspection. I have lost all faith in them and their service department. Fiat claimed to have checked my car over when I bought it but clearly they didn't do a thorough job. I will never buy a car or have a car MOT'd or serviced by them again. I am actually going to pay a mechanic to repair the parking brake rather than go back to Fiat Palmers free of charge.

I have always had great service whenever I've gone here and if I've had any problems they've always been rectified promptly. Recently I upgraded my car and I was very happy with the way I was kept informed with the build progress of my new car by Charlie my contact at Palmers. It made the whole process of buying the new car very nice and I would highly recommend this dealership.

Serviced with them for 4 years. Went somewhere else to have a service, can't update /clear the service indicator. Fiat now lock this, so you have to go to Fiat either for the service or you have to pay £78 plus vat for them to reset it. They also didn’t service my final service properly and left me with only half a tank full of oil. They say you don’t need to replace the oil unless it’s driven 4,000 miles or so. So I had to fill it up myself! Ridiculous!
