So I posted a negative review a few days ago but since then the owner reached out to me and explained what had gone wrong on my recent visit. She was very charming and professional about it and now that I have more of an understanding I wanted to address the issue here so that POTR doesn't receive negative feedback. I received a really wonderful physio massage today and have rebooked for another at the earliest opportunity.

My experience with physio Sarah Williams was excellent. She addressed the pain I am experiencing and recommended other activities such as swimming that would help me. I highly recommend Sarah and thank the staff for the efficient booking service and understanding. I will use Physio on the River whenever I need a physio or related service.

My overall experience could not have been better. My sessions with Mr. Dave Burnett were excellent. He was very attentive to what I had to say and it seemed he really took the time to study my case in detail and prescribe exercises that were specific to my needs. All the staff were very polite and friendly, and were also very flexible around my schedule. Information was always sent to me well in advance and in clear manner which made it very easy for me to keep track of appointments. I could not have asked for a better service and would recommend Physio on the River's services to anyone in a heartbeat.

I recently finished a course of physio with Sarah Williams at Physio on the River. Throughout she was very communicative, both about my ACL & MCL injury (teaching me a lot about my muscles and joints) and recovery programme, which made my recovery all that bit better. Extremely supportive and motivating, I can't recommend Sarah enough. Great physio, great location!

I cannot recommend Kathy Orr enough! I came to see her in November after I had been struggling with severe plantar fasciitis for several months. As I runner, I figured I could just push through the pain; however, it eventually became unbearable to walk, so I knew I needed assistance from a professional. From the very first appointment, Kathy was patient and listened to my concerns. I visited her regularly for several weeks seeing huge progress between appointments as she adapted my programme and also aided me with running technique. By March, I am now back to running long distances pain-free. It feels amazing to be getting back to where I was months before I came to see Kathy - I cannot thank her enough for getting me back on my feet (literally and figuratively).

I had a shoulder problem. I tried a sports massage place, but to no good effect - not being sporty, I guess. So I called up Physio on the river (or under the station). I was treated by Andrea the physio, who was excellent. My shoulder improved over time, under her supervision. I recommend PotR, but only with 4 stars, as this place isn't cheap. Which is good. Right? Do not be put off by the location - under Barnes Bridge railway station. None of my visits saw the building shaking as the 11.15 to London, Waterloo passed by.

I booked in for a “Running assessment and gait analysis” with the superb Dave Burnett. Over the course of an hour or so Dave put me through a series of stretches and exercises, and filmed my running gait on the treadmill. He rapidly identified that the 2 previous diagnoses I had received were incorrect and clearly demonstrated why. Dave sent me away with a set of exercises to strengthen the muscles around my knees and hips and the great news is I will be able to keep running. In terms of service, approach and expertise the whole experience was first rate and I wouldn’t hesitate to steer fellow limpers your way!

Review for Dave Burnet Physio. I wanted to convey how impressed I have been with Dave’s physio treatment and rehab guidance over these last few months. As a yoga teacher, over the years I have had lots of different styles of treatment from the traditional to the more alternative. Over the last few years I have really struggled with physical niggles that have made me feel worn down and were starting to limit me in activities such as walking for long spells, playing tennis, anything a little more impactful. I also knew felt that there was a stress component that was feeding into these issues. I started seeing Dave back in the summer and wasn’t too hopeful that I would be able to make any real significant improvements, thinking that I might just have to put up with these niggles as a part of the ageing process. I am so glad to say the opposite has been true. Dave has been so thorough at methodically working with me to figure out how to get to the underlying source of the issues and figuring it with me what had a nervous system component and what was purely physical. After each session we looked at specific exercises that he has adjusted over the weeks. He also recommended a massage stick that has been a game changer for the aches and pains in my legs that I use regularly after longer spells of walking. I’ve also been able to do more cycling, which I haven’t done for years as I feel more confident that I can stretch out afterwards and ease out the muscles I haven’t used for some time. I also feel more confident in myself that I can lead a more active life and when things crop up physically I have an idea how to help myself and when I’ve done as much as that as I can, I also know the type of treatment that helps me along. Thank you Dave, you’ve made a massive difference to me over these last few months. I would have no hesitation recommending you far and wide. Diane King - Yoga Teacher

Late in 2019 I pulled a muscle high up in my back. It was extremely painful and left me unable to exercise. I called Physio On The River and Diana’s team swung into action. I had an appointment with one of her colleagues, Richard, who quickly diagnosed the problem, expertly massaged it and gave me some exercises to help with rehabilitation. The results were amazing and, with just one follow-up appointment, the problem went away and has never reappeared. I was incredibly impressed by the expertise and professionalism of Physio On The River. I am very grateful to Diana and her team and will definitely be recommending their services in future.
