Sendingy husband here seemed a relief the staff were great. The doctor or manager was not. My husband was terminal and went and told mey children and I didn't want him to die at home so they would have to find him somewhere else to go. He had only been there 24 hours. I was heartbroken as he was already in a come. Can't forgive her

My mum was looked after at Phyllis Tuckwell for the last month of her life. I found all the staff to be very supportive, caring, professional and understanding. It was upsetting that she couldn’t be at home- where she wanted to be. But Phyllis Tuckwell was second best and I want to thank all the wonderful staff that made mums last days as comfortable as could be.

I wish I could give no stars. If I could turn back time and never let my loved one go into Phyllis Tuckwell I would. Total neglect. Life changing mistakes were made. To go in for respite and then to come out needing end of life care... Then for family members to receive an apology letter for 'legal reasons'. Disgusting!

Our brother John went into Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice on 8th May this year. Unfortunately John passed away 24hrs later. Wonderful care was given in this short time. John had wanted to stay at home until the end. Everything progressed so aggressively that there was no time to put home care into action although his brother and wife were amazing looking after him. I'm sure John would have been in awe of the work this wonderful hospice does.

I agree with the comments that the staff are very nice but the items in this shop are over priced for what they are. I wholeheartedly support hospice care but feel that as they are a charity they need to pass on the kind donations at a more reasonable price.
