This is a beautiful spot and had driven past the little lane many times and never realised what was down here. It’s a small nature reserve that has woodland walks past lakes and through meadows. A perfect spot for a picnic.

A delightful little nature reserve hidden down a lane near Great Leighs. Mixed woodland and meadow and a lovely large lily pond. The water is clear and allows a good view of many rudd of various sizes. A kingfisher was mentioned, but didn't show itself while I was there. Probably sleeping off a feast of rudd.
