BARCLAYS THE CLOWN BANK Applied for a Barclays credit card, to use on holiday. No problem we thought (we own our own home and have reasonable income) Cards came through. After about a week we had a letter saying cards had been blocked due to unusual spending. We have'nt used the cards!! This was a lie. Phoned the given number to be told the account had been closed, we no longer met their criteria.

The online banking and the app do not even show the standing order. You should go to the branch to check or modify it. None sense
