Excellent production with a highly talented group of actors. They managed to add a bit of humour to this dark classic without tainting the original essence of this highly charged emotional drama. Tenessee Williams would be proud to know that A Streetcar Named Desire is as relevant today as it ever was. The Phoenix Theatre is a lovely venue with easy transport links.
