  Acted for a freeholder of a flat we were selling and like many similar reviews they were slow, rude and unprofessional. We dealt with Daniel Gilnert. The sale took over 7 months because of this firm. I'm a property professional and have never experienced such unprofessional behaviour from a solicitor.

  Against all odds, Philip Ross helped us complete on the sale of our flat, alongside navigating the purchase of land in preparation for our self build. Katherine was particularly helpful in getting us over the line, and went above and beyond to make it happen.   Tanika Patel has been very attentive throughout the whole process. She diligently explained everything to us throughout, which as first-time buyers was very much appreciated. She was professional, prompt and friendly even when dealing with difficult relatives, and made sure to be available when needed. Overall we’ve had a positive experience because of Tanika's hard work even throughout all of the difficulties added by the pandemic. Wouldn't hesitate to use her again and definitely recommend her for legal services.

  8 Months and still no completion for my bridge purchase. I am currently purchasing a property using a bridging loan and I instructed this firm at the beginning of November 2020, everything was going smoothly but the communication started to slack as it got closer to December. As I wasn't receiving a response I then started to reach out to other recommended staff in the firm to provide an update, this continued until January 2021, three months on and my bridge had not been completed. I continuously emailed and called throughout the last 2 weeks of January and then the following first two weeks in February before another solicitor in the firm had notified me that my acting solicitor had left, I later found out that my acting solicitor leaving the firm was known to them yet they did not make any arrangements to pass my case to another solicitor prior to her leaving. I was told by the second acting solicitor that she would progress my case however again the same result no communication and me having to chase her along with other staff in the firm. It was 6 weeks before a 3rd solicitor had then picked up my case and taken over, this now brought us to the end of March. I had wanted to instruct another solicitor but the lender who recommended Phillip Ross advised that it was best to stay with them. I found out that a legal undertaking had not been completed until January 2021 meaning that from November 2020 to Jan 2021 the lender's legal representative had not been in communication with Phillip Ross meaning no legal work was done for 3 months and I was being strung along that whole time. My valuation was due to expire at the end of April but I was informed at the end of March that the case would complete by then, we're now in June and the paperwork issued I have been told is incorrect. Had this not been a purchase from a family member I would have lost this property, this company is worse than a back street firm. Poor service Poor communication I am absolutely fed up. I am not a person to write reviews, it's taken me 8 months of a painstaking process before writing this but I think the public should know what type of company they are dealing with. I've made exceptions for covid and also the stamp duty deadline but neither are good enough excuses. Please do not use this firm, I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.

  The worst part of buying our flat was having to deal with Philip Ross Solicitors. They were so slow getting our documents that we nearly lost the flat. They consistently got our names wrong on the documents. They charged us more than £10k too much - forgetting the stamp duty cuts. They rarely reply to or include my partner (who is not British) in important correspondence, ignoring his emails, which honestly breaks my heart and makes me feel sick every time it happens. The whole thing has been a nightmare, and I just want it to end.

  Alicia Pattihis was extremely diligent, personable, professional and truly went beyond the call of duty to help me with the legal side of purchasing my first property. She took the time to explain the legal process which was very helpful for a first-time buyer like myself. She applied her wealth of legal experience to help protect my financial liabilities as Covid-19 caused delays and uncertainty to the deal. I found Alicia to be very knowledgeable in her field and I will definitely be using her services in my future property dealings.

  Being a first-buyer is an overwhelming experience.Sophie Maryan  took all the stress away and provided a very personal and informative service.Sophie was always reachable over the phone and email.If Sophie wasn 't able   to take your call,you would have a call back  inside of a half an hour(max),most  time it  was in 5-10 mins.The processes in place at the firm like  Philip Ross Solicitors  made the whole process seamless and made me feel very informed.Could of finish faster but overall good solicitors,would use them again.Recommend.Efficient from start to finish,appointed  late 26 of February ,moved in into my  new house early  on 1  of Aprli, a four week turnaround that had everyone impressed.And very important to me,for every information i have ask her,she explains to me in details.
