  I recommend Phillip Kingsley to anyone concerned about the state of their hair (hair loss, weakened hair etc…) I had the luck to see Mr Glenn Lyons who is so knowledgeable. The values of the business seem to be based on honesty, transparency, education, being the best at what they do and knowledge and research. I’m not surprised they’re doing so well. My therapist and front of house were delightful too.

  On my return to Philip Kingsley after a gap of 30 years, I was so pleased to see that Glenn Lyons, Clinical Director was still there to do my consultation. We still recognised each other after all those years - he always had stylish grey hair back then! My itchy and very irritating scalp had returned which Glen was able to tell me was stress related and after two further visits, including treatments, my itchy scalp has vastly improved. Apart from advancements in technology and their products, little has changed - the staff are delightful as ever and there are still the little private booths in which treatments are carried out in. Sydney who did mine was very knowledgable and enthusiastic in explaining each stage of the treatment and how the products worked and my hair felt wonderful afterwards. Past experience shows that my scalp will get better but unfortunately, I am unlikely to return in another 30 years!!! Many thanks Glenn for your professionalism and charming, caring ways of dealing with your clients - thanks to the team too.

  Having been a client of Philip Kingsley for over 10 years, I would like to take this opportunity to share my personal experience. As a woman in her late forties, I started to notice a change in my hair. It appeared thinner on top and my scalp was slightly more visible than it had been previously. My hair has always been fine so this was of real concern to me. I became so anxious about the situation that I could hardly bear to look in the mirror. I knew that if the hair loss continued, my confidence would be shattered which would have a real impact on my life. I contacted my GP but she was unable to recommend anybody that might be of help. A number of clinics advertise their services online but it’s difficult to make an informed decision when you have no knowledge of them whatsoever. I decided to make an appointment with Philip Kingsley as I knew them by reputation but had no first-hand experience of them. Little did I know but this would turn out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made. My first consultation was with Carole. I walked into her office, sat down and promptly burst into tears. Having pushed a conveniently placed box of tissues towards me, Carole explained that it was not uncommon for people to get upset during their first visit. I felt immediately at ease. After much discussion about my concerns, Carole examined my hair and immediately diagnosed the problem. She explained the issue to me at length, drawing diagrams where necessary. Carole was kind, considerate and above all, understanding. I felt as though a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Her final words to me were ‘You no longer need to worry about your hair, I am responsible for it now’. I can’t begin to tell you how good that made me feel. I left her office with a clear understanding of the problem, the recommended treatment and crucially, a realistic view of the improvements that could be made. Since then, Carole has retired and I now see Glenn. Like Carole, his undoubted expertise is backed up by a real understanding of how emotionally upsetting it can be when experiencing hair loss. I continue to use the prescribed drops and have been extremely happy with the improvements that I have seen. So much so that I no longer worry about my hair. I don’t need to. The only time I give it any thought is when booking my annual consultation with Glenn. He is an expert in his field, easy to talk to and an empathetic listener. I can’t thank him enough. I can only speak from personal experience, but I don’t think I am being overly dramatic when I say they have made a big difference to my life. From my first consultation when I had convinced myself that nothing could be done to where I am today. After my first visit I felt that I was in safe hands. I could discuss my concerns and they understood. Really understood. I would like to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to Glenn, Carole and the team at Philip Kingsley.   The treatment is good but the after care isn’t very good atall. For the cost I would expect more care. Everytime I have been the instructions are not clear and I’ve had to call back to clarify. No email or anything given in writing. One time I was given some hair tonic to use on the scalp without a nozzle which meant it poured out and was wasted very quickly, I was just told “you should’ve been given a nozzle” and had to buy it again and it’s very pricey. It was not my fault they forgot to given me a nozzle! The last time I saw the trichologist she gave me so much information about vitamins, what to take and dosage, I could not remember it all and she uses medical terms and names. I asked for her to send it to me in an email so that I am clear on what to take and how much etc but I haven’t received anything. Again I will need to call and chase it. This is not what I expected from the best and most reputable trichologists. I am rather disappointed. Having said all this, the products are good and I will continue to use them but I don’t think I will go back to the clinic.

  I contacted the PK team about an appointment for my Mum. She is allergic to a few ingredients and the PK team wanted to make sure that none of the products that could be used when visiting would cause any harm. Very thorough of them! Susie was fantastic both in the virtual consultation and clinic visit. My mum is looking forward to the results of the advice and products given.

  I have been following PK on social media for a while now and so many positive reviews. I tried for months to arrange an appointment but due to other commitments the dates just weren’t convenient for me. This time I was adamant to clear my diary and make the commitment. I had a consultation with a trichologist, which was a wonderful experience. A thorough explanation and examination of my hair. I found susie very approachable, kind and honest. Little did I know that the best part was to come! I had the most amazing enriching treatment in my hair. It was so thorough and relaxing and all the products used were thoroughly explained on application and how I need to apply them at home. One of the best hair applications and massages I have ever experienced. No details were spared and no corners cut. The most invaluable part for me was that there was no sense of rushing or time constraint and I really loved that. I purchased products to use at home but I will most definitely be returning for another treatment soon 😊

  I had a hair treatment done here in April. It is expensive for applying product, steam , amazing massage and then wash and simple dry. It was £95. I will say my hair looked like silk and of course I bought too many products. Beautiful clinic and great neighborhood. I suggest for a royal rescue of your hair!
