My daughter stayed here following her trip to NYC. She said it was clean. Her friend did have a mystery yellow patch on her mattress. For the rest, food was good because there were lots of vegetarian options and a salad bar. She does recommend taking your own water bottle as cups were not always clean. Activities were so good it made up for it

This place is pure Nostalgia in my opinion, I've been there twice, 2011 & 2017, even my friends agreed that the place was good, I had fun for a whole week staying in the cabins as well as the accommodations, it kept me from being bored, I hope to see the place again considering that i've missed it.

My daughters stayed here with Brownies. At the top of the zip line, my eldest daughter changed her mind, and instead of unharnessing her, the PGL guide pushed her. The incident was witnessed by the Brownie leader, who was also at the top of the zip line. My daughter was inconsolable, and it marred the remainder of her experience. When I collected her I was made aware of the incident (by the Brownie leader.) Getting PGL to take any ownership and recognise the seriousness of this incident was incredibly frustrating. It wasn’t until I spoke to Paul (H&S director) some MONTH later was the incident finally reported to the LADO. Paul was apologetic and recognised that this absolutely should not have happened. However, the safeguarding knowledge of every other staff member we spoke to left a lot to be desired. I would never allow my children to stay here again.
