    We booked the Style Lounge for hair and makeup for our wedding in April 2023. We all looked and felt amazing after Emma and Hayley had worked their magic! And they really helped to make the morning of the wedding feel calm and organised! There was 7 of us getting hair and makeup done, but the morning ran so smoothly! The hair and makeup was exactly what we wanted, and lasted until the end of the night!

    I'm so glad I picked The Style Lounge to do my hair for my wedding. The communication before was excellent as they always replied to my questions promptly and made it easy to organise through Lisa. Natasha was my stylist and I could not have asked for a more lovely woman to be there in the morning of my wedding. She was professional and organised as well as friendly and chatty which really made a great atmosphere for a nervous bride to be! My hair stayed in place all day which is amazing to say I had a six month old baby that tugged at it and I had crazy dance moves! I also had a trial where as soon as Natasha touched my hair she knew exactly how to care for and style in it. I was very impressed by her knowledge and experience. I would highly recommend any bride to go with The Style Lounge for all your hair needs!

    A lot of this has already been said before in reviews, I wish I had read them first. If you are in any doubt, I would not recommend this company. The communication from Lisa is bad as already mentioned in previous posts, usually only when money was due. When trying to arrange what time the stylists were arriving on the day, it was very hard to get a straight answer. In the end the promised 2 stylists, only 1 turned up, 1 hour late, to do both my hair and make up and my bridesmaids. This meant she had to rush to do both in just over 1 hour. Very stressful and something you really dont need on your wedding day. No response either when I complained.

    I just wanted to say how amazing both Emma’s were on our wedding day. From meeting them during the trials, both my Mum and I were out at ease as they discussed what styles we would like and having a great laugh together. On the wedding day, Emma worked with the bridesmaid’s hair as they are all different and created beautiful styles which stayed out all night despite lots of dancing! Emma who did our makeup was so calm and again was so nice to catch up with again. Everyone commented on how amazing and flawless the makeup looked. Really complemented all skin tones and was exactly as described. They ensured the morning ran smoothly and their welcoming nature made everyone feel relaxed. I can’t thank them enough for being so wonderful and making getting ready so enjoyable.

    Edit/response to company: Hi Lisa, thank you for responding. Just a polite note that I did say in my email the makeup on myself was more orange than I would have preferred. Obviously I worded this as kindly as possible as I was asking why this had happened and not accusing you. As stated in my below review after 20 minutes (after the artist left) my mother's makeup cracked horrifically mine did not crack. Perhaps that was not clear below - apologies for this. To clarify we were happy at the time but once the artist left it was very cracked on my mother's face and oxidised unfortunately turning a very obnoxious shade of orange. Please note my mother did not have a trial for makeup. It is a shame that my constructive feedback has been taken so harshly and my honest review has been labelled as somewhat false, especially since I complimented the hair which I stand by the fact it was stunning. You've basically said my review is incorrect. If this is true then the hair must have been bad because you've said my review is not accurate. Obviously I stand by the fact the hair was amazing. I am disappointed in your response as this was my experience and you're telling me my story of my experience is incorrect and trying to make me feel bad for leaving an honest review. I can see from other reviews that lower star ratings have also been accused of being damaging and false. I do hope you take my constructive comments on board. Best wishes, K. It was very orange on my own face (bride). When my mother's makeup was done it cracked and was bright orange and we had to remove it within 20, minutes of the artist leaving. I contacted them to let them know and they basically said their foundation product was fine and that was it. It was very stressful to have to redo the makeup ourselves on the day. In my opinion if the product was fine then they've not shade matched to the face properly. I've now got my photographer trying to make my face in photos look less orange which is annoying. The hair was stunning just a shame about the makeup.

    Very poor communication and had the displeasure of dealing with argumentative wedding coordinator 'Lisa'. Booked for my wedding hair in June and took almost a month to get back to me about a hair trial which I could not do the date as I live across the country...As I was having my hair coloured I wanted matching extensions so was advised to have the trial afterwards but then again slow responses in regards to this. I messaged them today asking for my £50 deposit as the lack of communication was a concern when my wedding is coming up. Communication was poor (how hard is it to make an appointment, surely you can check a diary and let the customer know the same day about availability?) Funny how messages regarding £££ were replied to promptly but hair trial etc was much longer. Lisa then started to message me saying she has time stamps of the messages, well so do I so??? Very bad way to do business like this, but good luck for the future, you will need it if you treat all your customers like this. And before they respond to this review to say that my claims are unfounded and that they still have all the ‘many’ messages exchanged between us so do I.
