We’re all so grateful to Ingrid for helping us with our girl Lumie. Her separation anxiety meant we just couldn’t leave her alone, but we saw results almost straight away with Ingrid’s course. From 10 seconds to 10 minutes and now up to four hours, Lumie’s totally relaxed, and seems almost relieved when we head out and give her some private time. The training might not always work as quickly as it has with Lumie, but it’ll be worth it in the end - it has changed our life immeasurably!

We have had our greyhound, Arthur, for 5 years (4 when we initially contacted Ingrid) and he showed issues with separation anxiety early on, but we found ways to manage it - even if that meant totally adapting our lives around the dog. Then the Covid lockdowns hit and Arthur became very used having us around at all times, and what little progress we had made was completely undone and we were in a worse position than ever. Thanks to Ingrid's very structured programme and loads of support and advice, we have managed to build up to being able to leave him alone for about 2 hours, something we once thought we'd never be able to do. We are now going it alone to continue to build on the time we can leave him for, but Ingrid has left us a comprehensive guide to do this and we know she is at the end of the phone if we find we get stuck. Do consider Pets with Problems if your dog has separation anxiety, it is well worth it!

Ingrid has completely changed our lives! Our dog, Skye had terrible seperation anxiety and couldn’t be left alone for any length of time (our baseline was about 3 seconds) before she would howl and bark continuously. We had tried building up the time gradually but weren’t confident in how best to approach it and so didn’t stick to any particular method for long. We thought we wouldn’t be able to go out without her again! Thankfully, we were recommended Ingrid who talked us through the process and guided us every step of the way. It’s not a quick fix and it did take a while at the very beginning to work through desensitising Skye to us leaving the house and our routines (keys, coats, bag etc). But we very quickly saw the impact it was having and we were so pleased to have stuck with it, as each week she became more and more relaxed and able to cope with increasing amounts of time. Skye can now be left alone for 3 hours and snoozes happily on the sofa - she sometimes doesn’t even lift her head when we leave, which is SO different to how she was before. I couldn’t recommend Ingrid and her approach more, we definitely wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!

Without the help and support of Ingrid Haskal, we may have ended up living severely restricted lives, revolving around our Whippet, Willow. We had bought her a month before Covid lockdowns were announced. The three of us were together, at home, most of the time, and Willow loved this. However, when lockdowns ended, we realised that Willow really couldn’t cope with being left alone. Willow immediately screamed and hurled herself at the door as soon as we left the house, and wasn’t going to stop! I felt I faced a life of staying home with Willow much of the time, plus not being able to go out with my husband again. We can hardly believe that Willow is now comfortable with our leaving her alone for up to 4 hours, as it seemed totally impossible before we were with Ingrid, our mentor, guide and encourager. We give her 11/10* grading!

We started working with Ingrid over a year ago as our dog Fig suffers from severe separation anxiety. We couldn’t even go to the front door without him getting stressed. Fast forward to today and we can leave him alone for 3 hours and he just happily sleeps. It has been a tough journey with some bumps in the road but Ingrid was always there with reassurance, help and guidance. We could not have done this without her support. Cannot recommend her enough.

When you dog has separation anxiety. Call Ingrid. There is so much bad advice online, well intentioned maybe, but some could do more harm than good. Don't waste time and let your dog suffer, call in a CSAT (Certified Separation Anxiety Trainer) qualified behaviourist who has the specialist knowledge to help you. Ingrid is great to work with, and she will support you and your dog as you work through the process.

We were quite desperate when we contacted Ingrid about our dog Flossie, who refused to go for walks and was generally anxious and aggressive. We'd turned to others before and got poor advice, but Ingrid had the expertise and experience to turn things round entirely. A real hands on service, with detailed instructions and weekly feedback, is essential in these cases and Ingrid provides this and more. Thank god for Pets with Problems!

We worked with Ingrid with our 15-month cavapoochon, Teddy, around his separation anxiety. Ingrid's approach is truly tailored, holistic, patient and informative, and we noticed dramatic changes in his behaviour after a short period of time. While focusing primarily on separation anxiety, Ingrid's wisdom extends far beyond that, and her advice has seen transformative effects around routine, diet, wider behaviour, socialisation and other areas. Ingrid is very approachable, committed and responsive, with no question too stupid or inconvenient. I would recommend her services wholeheartedly. Josh Moritz

Ingrid was recommended to help with Willow’s severe separation anxiety after rehoming her at 8 months old. This continues to be work in progress however there has been a significant improvement in Willow & also my knowledge of how to implement the strategies to continue working to resolve her SA. Ingrid was available to contact with any concerns or questions throughout our sessions. The detailed plans provided by Ingrid & the information relating to dog body language were great resources. Thank you Ingrid
