This is a _great_ small museum if you already know a good bit about pre-Islamic Egypt. Highlight is the ability to "walk through time" in the pottery room, starting with pre-history. If you are a novice, this will be a much tougher experience. Labeling is opaque and a map of archaeological sites is needed. Not kid-friendly.

(Translated by Google) Very interesting, free museum, but I was surprised by the closing at 6 p.m., I did not have time to see everything (Original) Très intéressant, musée gratuit, mais je me suis fait surprendre par la fermeture à 18h, je n’ai pas eu le temps de tout voir
