A good restaurant with good food and lovely staff. I ordered the snails appetizer and the skate wing fish as a main. Overall I enjoyed the food but there was just a little something missing to make it amazing. Feels like the flavours didn’t always marry up to the ingredients. I would consider coming back again but I’m not rushing for a visit anytime soon.

We arrived just before 6pm on a Sunday. Got the last free table. We had an excellent Sunday roast. (They were out of chicken) Great veg, bit of garlic butter on the perfectly rare (as ordered) slow cooked meat. Good pepper on the cauliflower cheese. Personal and attentive Sevice. Though the missed one special request of less vegetables. There is quite a lot of ambient noise, open kitchen no soft furnishings, and 2 kids playing with metal and glasses didn’t help. Probably better noice level later in the evening. Would go again we didn’t order of the a la carte menu which is also available on sundays.

Had the best birthday lunch here. The ‘Prix Fix’ menu is definitely value for money. We also added their specials dish of asparagus and wild garlic pesto. They even provided me with a birthday chocolate and candle. Lovely staff and amazing food!
