Was promised by butcher same recipe of old for the pastie. Alas he mistruthed. Lots of Pastry with meat. Not much else. Lazy prep badly excicuted. No onion, two cubes of potatoe. Not award winner Ng pies at all.

I purchased x4 burgers, cooked the same evening… quite possibly the most tasteless burgers I’ve ever had, to the point where those eating them questioned if it was actually a meat substitute. Awful. Based on those alone, I’d never go back.

Top notch pies and savouries. Their delicately handcrafted and delightfully tasty Cornish pasties are the best I’ve tasted. Our picnic guests love their sausages. For this Mother’s Day we ordered lamb noisettes with pork sausage meat, stuffed loin of pork with apricots and pears – lovely! I learnt from the neighbouring shopowner that they started out as a butcher, but now they are more famous for their pies and sausages. Nice location, just outside Kew Gardens station, interesting shopfront. Parking on the station forecourt but if that’s full, try the parking spaces on the side streets. They also do ready to eat snacks. Go grab a sausage roll and a pastie just to check out how amazing those are. Very friendly staff and service. Going to try their duck pate next week.

I'm strongly convinced that their Cornish pasty is the best in London. It's a masterpiece, and also astonishingly not expensive, given the quality and the neighbourhood. Their sausage roll is also very good, and their steak-and-kidney pie is well-rated by an Australian pie magazine.
