    We used Peter Paints to redecorate a house prior to moving in. The pros, Jazz, as others say, initially very responsive, cordial and keen to get the business. Both painters we had were very friendly and nice to have around. The cons. The work took longer than planned, largely due to poor communication between Jazz and the painting team (which meant the work was not done in the order requested, and had to be partly redone after other tradesmen had done their messy work). Even then, the work was not done redone properly. We were then charged for the delay. The painters missed out a number of items that had been paid for (such as panelling, an entire ceiling, etc). The painters used the wrong paint in the bathroom (or of such low quality), that the room needs repainting entirely (see water / condensation stains in pictures which appeared within a week). We paid for walls being fixed prior to painting, instead they were just painted over (e.g. painting over holes, bare brick, etc instead of using filler first etc). All the above was reported multiple times to Jazz along with a list of snagging at the end of the project. We had naively paid in full before this was resolved, and have never heard back from Jazz (I can see others have had similar experiences). We paid a hefty bill for the work as we thought it would be worth using professionals for a big project, unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. Far from it.     So we had Pat as our decorator and he was super lovely and kind with us, and of course the paint job he did was very well done! (We love bold colours!) We would definitely have him back! Very quick for him to come in and start too which was perfect for us. Fair price for the work, which also includes Jazz's knowledge, advice and quick replies. We did have paint left over, which we find useful if we ever needed touch ups. If you're down for supporting a black woman owned business, Jazz and her gang are your choice!     If you’re wondering why there’s so many 5* reviews, they offer £20 off if you give them a good review. The Initial service from Peter Paints was decent. However there were some parts of the job left incomplete. After initially promising to come back and finish the job, albeit 2 months later, I was satisfied. However they seemingly ‘forgot’ about this booking and never bothered to contact me again. After giving them the benefit of the doubt, I tried to arrange another date, which they once again completely ignored. Edit: After once again giving them the benefit of the doubt I’ve tried contacting them again but it seems after getting paid they’ve not interested and have blocked me. Suffice to say I would not recommend.
