The timeless quality of my suit can only be matched by Mr. Johnston's effortless attention to detail and expert knowledge of cloth. This was my first excursion into the world of bespoke men's tailoring, I knew that this gentleman had a reputation as being the best in Scotland but after the first consultation I could see why. I went in with a complete blank canvas. He took time at the first consultation to understand what my suit would be needed for and created a suit that could be used for many purposes. Whilst others would have tried the double sale tactic. A jacket that could be worn casually with jeans or formally along with trousers and a waistcoat as a whole suit. All these items were delivered on time and fit perfectly even down to waist adjustment should a 12oz steak and dessert challenge his pin point measuring. A byproduct of this experience (and its not just a suit it is an experience) is that I instinctively feel and am the best dressed in the room at any function or drinks reception. This level of timeless quality and customer care can only leave one wanting more. Bravo Mr. Johnston

I had the pleasure of getting to know Peter earlier this Summer when I went to him for a suit for a friends wedding. From the off, Peter was easy to get along with and put me at ease at each stage of the fitting process. The final product was phenomenal and easily the best suit I've ever owned. The fitting and attention to detail was perfect. I'd have no problems recommending him to any of of my friends and hope to visit again for another suit sometime in the future.

Truly the best service I have ever had. I first went to Peter a few years ago to get two suits and a few shirts, at first I was a bit overwhelmed by all the fabric and cut choices but Peter put me at ease and the process was amazing. The end products were exceptional and when my wedding came round there was only one place me and my best men were headed. Go to Peter if you want fantastic tailoring and great service, truly one of the capitals gems.
