I've called this helpline a number of times, both before and after losing my beloved cat. The volunteer staff are kind and understanding, in particular I would like to thank Andrew who was an absolute diamond on what was a tough day for me. An invaluable service, thank you for the work you do.

I called the service after we lost our beautiful cat Ollie who was hit by a car and left us all heartbroken. Kay was wonderful, compassionate and easy to talk to. We spoke for nearly an hour and there was no pressure to end the call. It really did help to talk and the offer to call back if needed was very much appreciated. I highly recommend this service.

I called @ 12:06 on Saturday 7th May, after my beautiful baby boy cat (of 5 months old) - passed of feline coronavirus. I was shaken and needed to talk to someone who could support. The lady I spoke to was opinionated, entitled, and cold. She cut me off after 35 minutes because I was “going off topic”, then proceeded to tell me about the charity. It was cringey and painful, in an already agonising situation. I would not recommend calling this service.
