Although the staff are hard working, they are being shuffled all around the home in name of "Cover" as nursing home is always UNDER STAFFED but for the times when there is an inspection. What else can you expect when you have a carer, who has newly qualified as a nurse, heading the home as care manager now? There is a thing called as EXPERIENCE and once canot be experienced enough to lead a home within a year or two. Perhaps HC-One has thrown this EXPEREINCE THING out of window. Staff often struggle at duties having to manage all residents with less staff and the management as well as manager are least bothered. Shuffling, understaffing, arrogant attitude, shouting out loud will not lead you anywhere in long term. High attrition rate speaks for itself. PS: DO not reply to me in the review. Get your things sorted HC One. Promoting a newly qualified nurse to be a manager shows immaturity on part of management.

My very disabled brother unfortunately had to go into nursing care after his health had deteriorated over the last few years. My sister and I shed many tears as we were allowed window visits. Day 1 he was in a bed as he had been bedridden for quite some time. The staff were very welcoming and reassuring to my sister and myself but we were still heartbroken. I then had a call within a couple of days to say they had had the physio team in and John would be suitable for a special chair which they happened to have available. They sent me photos and videos of him sitting in the lounge taking part in activities. He is talking more than I have known him do in years, he looks so clean and is dressed properly and had gained 2kg in less than a week!!!! He has laughed with us and I treasure that cheeky smile he gives us now. The staff we have met so far have been so kind and nothing is too much trouble for them. I cannot name them all but we particularly want to thank Jane Nawaz, Tom & Manni and I’m sure the rest of the team at Perrywell House are just as lovely. Thank you all. We may be a little distanced from my brother but you have most certainly given him back to us and more than that you have given him his life back. Thank you all

The staff are lovely, the place is clean , however, a nursing home was not appropriate for my Uncle so he saw it his days at home.
