Their food is usually excellent, but this time I went for a mushroom and walnut quiche and it wasn't a patch on the broccoli and Stilton quiche. There was no discernable walnut, the quiche was overcooked and split, at the same time as being soggy, wet and not hot all the way through. Compared to the broccoli and Stilton I had last time which was divine! I still think this place is excellent, maybe I was just unlucky or maybe this recipe needs tweeking a bit.

Lovely people, and breakfast. Had organic scrambled eggs and bacon with a lovely oat milk (Oatly) cappuccino. They specially offered to make the eggs without milk for me. The cakes looked delicious so we’ll need to try them next time and they make their own organic apple and pear juices. Lactose free options for your coffee and they also had gluten free biscuits 👍

Very good tea and cakes. But I do agree this cafe could really need some love. It would look lovely if a few bits were updated…

We love a tea room, there is something so comforting about a proper pot of tea a slice of home made cake or a chunky sandwich. You couldn't fault the food at perry court and the staff were friendly but the place is very tired and in need of some tlc. The toilets especially. Still a nice place visit though.

I organised a baby shower for a work friend here today, and was very impressed with everything from the organisation prior to the day with Jess, all my emails were answered promptly, to the food (they catered for all our dietary needs with no fuss) and friendly staff today. They also put up decorations for us. Thank you very much!
