Went with a Portuguese friend and we sat outside as was a sunny afternoon. Great ambience and good choice of dishes. We had a shredded pick savoury snack which was delicious

Friendly and helpful. Made room for an 8 person table with no moans. But be careful the jebab skewer meals are rather large. Vegetarian options: 2 of our group are vegetarian and say it was fine. Kid-friendliness: Bothe the kids were allowed, and encouraged, to pick and choose from various bits of the menu. Parking: Almost no parking close to this restaurant.

My friend and I went here for dinner recently. He had been here before and told me this was the best Portuguese restaurants in the area. But after the meal we both agreed the experience did not live up to the good reviews this restaurant has. We ordered the mussel clams and the octopus salad, together with some bread and butter. The salad and the bread basket arrived first. I was quite surprised there was garlic bread, but to our bigger surprise there is no butter, and the waitress didn't seem to care about this. A few moments later, to our biggest surprise, the waitress served us a plate of prawns. We were both quite puzzled and told the waitress we ordered the clams instead. The waitress just shrugged her shoulders and said the prawns were what you pointed at, then turned away. The mains were not too bad though. The mushroom sauce is quite creamy, but the meat was too rough and chewy. I would say I definitely have had some better experience in Portuguese restaurants in the Heathrow area. Definitely NOT recommending Moniz to anyone now.

I loved their caramel, chicken sandwich and rissois. I did try most of the snacks which are known in Portuguese. Love it . And last but not least best place to have coffee with a outdoor sitting area.
