I called the office and was greeted by a friendly lady who arranged for Dave to come and inspect my property. Dave turned up on time and explained the damp issues I had in the property. I received a quote within 24 hours. I was happy with the quote and a date was set for the works. The guys cleaned up every night and I am really pleased with the work and would highly recommend. David and his team have been wonderful. The previous owner had laid a patio over an existing one... compromising the damp proof course on the side of the house and even causing surface water run-off into the air bricks. David gave me options on what remedial work could be carried out. Additionally allowed me to add works to the scope very late notice when another issue was found that needed fixing. Team were very friendly and efficient. I was especially impressed with how tidy they were in cleaning up each day before leaving. A great job at a very reasonable price.

I urgently needed an inspection for possible rising damp prior to scheduled work already in place. I rang permafix and spoke to Debbie who was really friendly and very helpful and professional. Appreciating my dilemma, David visited the next day and carried out an inspection. Again all extremely friendly and professional and explained his opinion on work needed. He was non pushy, gave me advice and left me to make some decisions. I called back the next day and happily agreed to the work being done . David was happy to jiggle things around to meet my short time frame and amazingly carried out the work the following day with his team. The team were friendly, competent, professional in the work they did, kept the work space tidy and did an amazing job. Perma-Fix Ltd, whose Director is David Cole, damaged our property, invoiced for work that was not done and invoiced for work that he was specifically told not to undertake. We took him to Court and the judgement on 20 May,2021 (claim number G9QZ9C6Z) was that: 1. Cole damaged our property and the Judge stated he would have ordered him to make good the damage if the new owner had not already done so. 2. He was ordered to repay the money that he had been paid for work that had not been done. 3. His counterclaim for his invoice for work that he had been specifically told not to do was thrown out. Cole chose not to appeal and ignored the Court Order to pay the money, so a further Court Hearing was required on 29 October,2021, at which his bank was told to pay us direct. Our money was finally recovered after twelve months when his bank repaid us on 29 November,2021. We would not recommend someone who behaved like a cowboy builder. Service: Drywall repair
