Unfortunately the perks are not as great or beneficial as they are made out to be. Furthermore there is a stealth renewal policy which is aimed at tricking the unsuspecting consumer whereby if you miss the deadline for not cancelling 3 months before the end of your contract you are forced into another full years membership, even though the membership year has not started when you have cancelled.

Although you can find good deals on perkbox (I like the free coffees and discounted cinema tickets) most discounts aren't significant enough to be worth going through the hassle of buying vouchers in the first place - discount codes would be a lot more user friendly. Also, if you decide you want to return something you bought with Perkbox vouchers, you won't be able to get your money back. The retailer will simply put the money back on your voucher. This means you're then forced to shop with them again to get your money's worth, regardless of whether you want to. I had a terrible and frustrating experience with Argos that made me want to boycott them for life, yet I had money caught up in the form of a Perkbox Argos voucher. Very annoying and inconvenient for the sake of a small saving.

I had a bad experience with this company. I'm not one to leave a bad review but we signed up to them in good faith. No one used the service, We had a pandemic and they charged us for a whole year. Yes, I did sign the contract but these guys do not care about having happy customers. i would feel disgraced if I was the leadership team and fleeced customers in the way they did. Disgraceful. To be avoided. It's interesting how most of their 5* reviews come from people who have only reviewed once. Very interesting. For a company meant to be in the happiness business, it is a strange way to treat customers.

Not one to leave a bad review ever, Perkbox is great with its offers, however the FREE Café Nero drink you get is NOT free as not having dairy for health issues you're expected to pay for a plant based milk as an extra which is ridiculous, a FREE drink is a FREE drink. Please could you change this for people who CAN'T drink dairy and still enjoy a FREE drink? as that would be fair to all, Much appreciated :)
